Music educators and professional musicians Angharad and Daniel work together to inspire the Belsize Park community with their shared passion for music. They are both qualified up to masters level and have been working in music for a combined 25 years. Whatever project they are working on, whether it be their next piano and guitar recital or the Belsize Choirs Children’s Choir, Angharad and Daniel can be trusted to provide an inspiring and educational environment.
Angharad and Daniel established Belsize Choirs to provide a safe and enjoyable space in Belsize Park Community Library where children and adults can learn to sing for pleasure. Being part of a choir is proven to be beneficial. Choir membership is a great way of making friends, and learning to sing gives choir members the extra musical confidence needed to play an instrument well.
Belsize Community Library provides excellent acoustics and enough space to comfortably enjoy the singing lessons and fun activities. Our class sizes are kept small to ensure that each child is given individual attention. Two teachers are present at all times to ensure safety and help with learning should it be needed.
At the end of each term, choir members are given the opportunity to perform in an end of term concert. This enables friends and family to be invited along to hear the brilliant singing of the Belsize Choirs.
The children’s choir begins on September the 13th and is split into two age groups. The first after school class at 4:00 pm is for Year 3 to Year 5 pupils and the second class at 5:00 pm is for Year 6 to Year 8 pupils. The price for each term is £100 for 12 classes. Alternatively, parents can choose to pay as you go for £10 per class. Contact Daniel or Angharad to book your child a place in the choir whilst spaces are still available.
